Founder & Vision

Next ERA traces its origins to the late Gussie Z. Stutts (affectionately known as "Ms. G"), a second-generation Republican and daughter of George W. Stutts, Sr., Mississippi's pioneering Black oil entrepreneur and Philanthropist. Next ERA carries forward her father's legacy by advancing free enterprise, ownership, and economic opportunity.

Throughout her life, Ms. G was a powerful force for political change. Her vibrant passion for life, freedom, and self-determination inspired countless individuals to join and to actively participate in the Republican Party, causing many black and brown voters to flock toward conservative leadership.
